One Neuron, One Universe.

Dr. Tahereh (Tata) Najafi is a Ph.D. holder in Electrical, Electronics and System Engineering from National University of Malaysia, 2022. She received her BSc and MSc degrees in computer engineering (Software Engineering) from Azad University of Lahijan and Tehran-South in 2009 and 2015, respectively.

  • During BSc, she worked on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and movement control.
  • Her research focus in MSc was on Brain Signal Processing (BSP) in diagnosis the mental disease focused on Anxiety and Depression Detection.
  • Her doctrate reserach was on fundamental research on developing a Neuronal Membrane Model to Identify Epilepsy using Intermittent Photic Stimulation, showcasing my proficiency in computational modeling, computer engineering, neurophysiology, and electronics towards advancing our understanding of neurological disorders.

Her professional experience refers to working at Payam-Guilan-Mehr Company as vice-chairman and working on projects such as transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), and managing Tooloo Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic. After Ph.D., she joined  AI Department at KeyASIC, Malaysia since 2022. Here was the point that she developed her skills in a way how to simplify and organize a complicated topic to approach a deliverable product with the respect to its scientific aspects.

Her interests are fundamental research on neuroscience with the focus on brain and neurophysiology; biomedical research and anallytical analysis in molecular and cellular scales; and research and development from idea to product.
